The Mission of the Healthy Community Alliance of East Central Indiana is to improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
Your extra Garden Produce can make a difference to our neighbors in need!
The purpose of "Grow-A-Row" is to encourage our communities to plant, grow, harvest and donate an extra row of produce or surplus crops to local organizations such as food pantries, soup kitchens and social service providers.
The 2024 Grow-A-Row campaign is brought to you by the HCA Food Council of ECI
and Nutrition Workgroup, Purdue Extension, Indiana University Health and the Muncie Food Hub Partnership.

About This Site:
The Healthy Community Alliance was formed by a cross section of community organizations and individuals in Blackford, Delaware and Jay counties who are concerned about the rising rates of chronic disease in East Central Indiana. The Alliance consists of a steering committee, Partner organizations, and workgroups focused on three priority areas- physical activity, nutrition, and tobacco use. For more information about the Healthy Community Alliance, contact John Disher, jdisher1@iuhealth.org.
